This hydrologic outlook includes the following rivers: Kankakee
River.

For the Kankakee River...including Shelby...Minor flooding is
possible.

Due to snow melt runoff, river levels are expect to rise along the Kankakee
River at Shelby. Based on the current forecast, river levels could reach minor
flood stage by Monday March 15th. Keep up to date with the latest forecast
information.

For the Kankakee River at Shelby, the latest stage is 6.1 feet at 9
pm Monday. Flood stage is 9.0 feet. Bankfull stage is 8.5 feet. Minor
flooding is possible...with a crest of around 9.4 feet Monday
evening March 15th...which is 0.4 feet above flood stage.
