This hydrologic outlook includes the following rivers: Kankakee
River.

For the Kankakee River...including Shelby...Minor flooding is
possible.

Due to snow melt runoff, river levels are expected to rise along the Kankakee
River at Shelby. Based on the current forecast, river levels could reach minor
flood stage by Monday March 15th. Keep up to date with the latest forecast
information.

The latest stage is 6.0 feet at 12 PM Monday. Flood stage is 9.0 feet. Bankfull
stage is 8.5 feet. Minor flooding is possible...with a crest of around 9.5 feet
Monday evening...which is 0.5 feet above flood stage.
