SKIES WERE MOSTLY SUNNY ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST
INDIANA LATE THIS MORNING. AFTER MORNING LOWS IN THE LOW 40S IN
THE OUTLYING AREAS TO THE LOW 50S NEAR THE
LAKEFRONT...TEMPERATURES HAVE REBOUNDED INTO THE MID TO UPPER 60S
WITH SOUTHWEST WINDS.

HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE REGION WILL SLOWLY MOVE SOUTHEAST TOWARDS
THE MID ATLANTIC AREA BY SUNDAY MORNING. SOUTHERLY WINDS ON THE
BACKSIDE OF THE HIGH WILL USHER IN WARMER AIR INTO THE
REGION...AND HIGHS THIS AFTERNOON WILL REACH INTO THE MID 70S TO
AROUND 80. A WEAK DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA LATE
TONIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING. THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS
AND A POSSIBLE THUNDERSTORM ACROSS NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL
ILLINOIS SUNDAY MORNING. A BETTER CHANCE FOR WIDESPREAD
PRECIPITATION WILL BE SUNDAY EVENING INTO MONDAY AS A COLD FRONT
MOVES SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE REGION. HIGHS ON SUNDAY WILL BE EVEN
WARMER REACHING THE UPPER 70S TO LOW 80S.
