SKIES WERE MOSTLY SUNNY ACROSS MUCH OF NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND
NORTHWEST INDIANA IN THE LATE AFTERNOON. TEMPERATURES WERE IN
THE LOW TO MID 50S AWAY FROM THE LAKE TO THE LOW 40S ALONG THE
LAKEFRONT.

CANADIAN HIGH PRESSURE WILL KEEP THE COOL AIR OVER THE REGION
THROUGH THE WEEKEND. CONDITIONS ACROSS THE AREA WILL REMAIN MOSTLY
CLEAR THROUGH THE EVENING WITH PERHAPS A FEW MORE CLOUDS NEAR
DAYBREAK. COOL TEMPERATURES WILL BE EXPECTED WITH LOWS IN THE LOW
TO MID 30S. A STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA FROM THE
SOUTHERN PLAINS ON FRIDAY...BRINGING THE CHANCE FOR LIGHT RAIN TO
THE AREA FRIDAY NIGHT. THE SCENARIO IS SHAPING UP FOR A
SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF WIDESPREAD RAINFALL ON SATURDAY. HIGHS
FRIDAY WILL BE IN THE MID 50S TO LOW 60S...WITH TEMPERATURES IN
THE MID TO UPPER 40S ALONG THE LAKEFRONT.
