LATE AFTERNOON SKIES WERE PARTLY SUNNY TO CLOUDY ACROSS MUCH OF
NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA. A TRACE OF SNOW FELL
ACROSS PARTS OF THE AREA DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS. TEMPERATURES
WERE IN THE MID 40S TO NEAR 50 WITH BLUSTERY WEST TO NORTHWEST
WINDS.

CIRCULATION AROUND STRONG LOW PRESSURE TO OUR NORTHEAST AND AN
APPROACHING HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL KEEP A COOL AIR MASS OVER
THE REGION THROUGH THE WEEKEND. THE HIGH WILL MOVE OVER THE GREAT
LAKES REGION TONIGHT AND THE WINDS WILL DIMINISH ALLOWING FOR
AREAS OF FROST TO DEVELOP BY THURSDAY MORNING AWAY FROM THE LAKE.
DRY COOL CONDITIONS WITH HIGHS IN THE 50S WILL CONTINUE
THURSDAY...WITH THE CHANCE OF FROST DEVELOPMENT AGAIN THURSDAY
NIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING. FRIDAY WILL BE A COOL DAY WITH HIGHS IN
THE UPPER 50S TO LOW 60S. AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL ARRIVE
DURING THE DAY SATURDAY AND LIKELY CONTINUE INTO THE EVENING...MAKING
SHOWERS POSSIBLE.
