FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH-CENTRAL
ARIZONA AND SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PHOENIX AZ
306 AM MST TUE MAY 5 2015

.DISCUSSION...
SCATTERED MORNING SHOWERS ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL ARIZONA WILL BECOME
MORE ISOLATED IN COVERAGE BY THIS AFTERNOON AS AN AREA OF LOW
PRESSURE EXITS TOWARDS THE EAST. ISOLATED AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS ARE
ALSO POSSIBLE. HUMIDITY VALUES TODAY WILL BE QUITE ELEVATED WITH GOOD
OVERNIGHT RECOVERIES EXPECTED. DRIER SOUTHWEST FLOW ALOFT SPREADING
INTO THE AREA WILL RESULT IN LOWER MINIMUM RH VALUES WEDNESDAY...WITH
A FEW OF THE LOWER DESERTS FALLING BELOW 15 PERCENT. BREEZY SOUTH TO
SOUTHWEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED DURING THE AFTERNOON ON BOTH DAYS.

...THUNDERSTORMS IMPLY GUSTY WINDS...

NOTE...ADDITIONAL FIRE WEATHER FORECAST INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND
IN THE AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION. SEE PRODUCT PHXAFDPSR.
