THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE COUNTIES SERVED BY THE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN BIRMINGHAM.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY
AFTERNOON ACROSS CENTRAL ALABAMA. THE MOST LIKELY LOCATION WILL BE
WEST OF INTERSTATE 65 AFTER 3 PM...BUT WITH NUMEROUS BOUNDARIES
AROUND...AN ISOLATED STRONG TO SEVERE STORM MAY POPUP ALMOST
ANYWHERE. QUARTER SIZE HAIL AND WIND GUSTS UP TO 60 MPH MAY
OCCUR.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

ANOTHER SHOT AT SEVERE STORMS COMES ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING AS A COLD FRONT PUSHES THROUGH THE REGION. ONCE
AGAIN...THE MAIN THREATS WILL BE LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WIND
GUSTS.

ACTIVATION OF STORM SPOTTERS AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT MAY BE
NEEDED THIS AFTERNOON AND AGAIN FRIDAY.
