THE AREAS AFFECTED INCLUDE...
  COASTAL WATERS FROM STAKE ISLAND LA TO SOUTHWEST PASS OF THE
  MISSISSIPPI RIVER FROM 20 TO 60 NM...
  COASTAL WATERS FROM PASCAGOULA MISSISSIPPI TO STAKE ISLAND
  LOUISIANA OUT 20 TO 60 NM...

AT 746 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 30 KNOTS. THESE
THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 40 NM SOUTH
OF FAREWELL BUOY TO 35 NM EAST OF PILOTTOWN...MOVING EAST AT 20
KNOTS.

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN OVER MAINLY OPEN WATERS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 30 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THESE STORMS PASS.
