DISCUSSION:

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM SOUTHWEST OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY TODAY WILL
MOVE ACROSS THE AREA ON TUESDAY BRINGING A SLIGHT CHANCE OF
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO MAINLY THE VENTURA AND LOS ANGELES
COUNTY MOUNTAINS. THERE IS A POSSIBILITY SOME OF THIS ACTIVITY WILL
DRIFT SOUTHWARD ACROSS WESTERN VENTURA AND FAR EASTERN SANTA BARBARA
COUNTIES TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING BEFORE DISSIPATING. RAINFALL
AMOUNTS WILL BE VERY SPOTTY...HOWEVER A FEW LOCATIONS COULD SEE
BRIEF HEAVY RAIN IN THE FOOTHILLS AND MOUNTAINS DURING THUNDERSTORM
ACTIVITY.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF RAIN SHOWERS JUST ABOUT ANYWHERE ACROSS
SOUTHWESTERN CALIFORNIA WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH FRIDAY
NIGHT...THEN HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD OVER THE REGION THIS UPCOMING
WEEKEND FOR DRY AND WARMER WEATHER CONDITIONS.

RAINFALL TOTALS THIS WEEK WILL RANGE FROM A FEW HUNDREDTHS UP TO 0.50
INCH OR MORE NEAR SLOW-MOVING THUNDERSTORMS.
