THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR A LARGE PART OF ARKANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

LOW CLOUDS AND AREAS OF FOG WILL DEVELOP OVERNIGHT. FOG COULD BE
DENSE IN PLACES...REDUCING VISIBILITIES TO LESS THAN A HALF MILE.
A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MAY BE REQUIRED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

PATCHY DENSE FOG WILL DISSIPATE SUNDAY MORNING...AND THE FOCUS WILL
SHIFT TO SEVERE WEATHER. A STORM SYSTEM WILL TRACK ACROSS THE
CENTRAL PLAINS...AND WILL BE IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA BY EVENING. THE
SYSTEM WILL BRING COOLER AIR OVERHEAD...WHICH WILL MOVE OVER MILD
CONDITIONS NEAR THE GROUND. AS TEMPERATURES DROP UPSTAIRS AND CLIMB
DOWNSTAIRS...THE ATMOSPHERE WILL DESTABILIZE AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL
POP UP.

SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS ON SUNDAY WILL BE MOST LIKELY
DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS. THE MAIN CONCERNS WITH
STORMS THAT BECOME SEVERE WILL BE LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING STRAIGHT
LINE WINDS.

IN THE COMING DAYS...AT LEAST A COUPLE OF FRONTS WILL ARRIVE FROM
THE NORTHWEST AND STALL IN OR CLOSE TO THE REGION. AT THE SAME
TIME...WEAK STORM SYSTEMS FROM THE SOUTHWEST WILL INTERACT WITH THE
FRONTS. THAT WILL KEEP PERIODIC RAIN CHANCES IN THE FORECAST. AT
THIS TIME...WIDESPREAD HEAVY RAIN IS NOT EXPECTED...AND THE ODDS FOR
SEVERE WEATHER APPEAR MINIMAL.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
