THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR A LARGE PART OF ARKANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

IT WILL BE DRY MUCH OF TONIGHT...WITH A FEW SHOWERS POSSIBLE TOWARD
DAWN FRIDAY IN WESTERN ARKANSAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

A STRONG STORM SYSTEM WILL FORM IN WESTERN KANSAS FRIDAY. AHEAD OF
THE SYSTEM...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP
DURING THE DAY. BY LATE IN THE AFTERNOON...A WARM FRONT WILL
LIFT INTO THE STATE FROM THE GULF COAST. WARMER AIR AND INCREASING
MOISTURE WITH THE FRONT WILL MAKE THE ATMOSPHERE MORE UNSTABLE...AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BECOME LIKELY.

STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED LATE FRIDAY AFTERNOON
AND INTO THE EVENING ACROSS MUCH OF ARKANSAS...BUT ESPECIALLY FROM
LITTLE ROCK SOUTHWARD. THE MAIN CONCERNS WITH THE STORMS WILL BE
LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING STRAIGHT-LINE WINDS...AND ISLOLATED TORNADOES.

THE STORMS WILL ALSO PRODUCE AREAS OF HEAVY RAIN. CENTRAL AND
SOUTHERN SECTIONS OF THE STATE COULD PICK UP ONE TO TWO INCHES OF
RAIN...WITH LOCALLY MORE IN PLACES.

AFTER A MOSTLY DRY AND WARM WEEKEND...ANOTHER ROUND OF SHOWERS AND
STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED LATE FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING.
