...GUSTY WINDS THROUGH THIS EVENING AND AGAIN TUESDAY...

.LOW PRESSURE STALLED OVER SOUTHERN ONTARIO WILL LEAD TO A
PERISTENT STRONG PRESSURE GRADIENT OVER THE NEARSHORE WATERS OF
SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN THROUGH WEDNESDAY. GUSTY WEST WINDS WILL EASE
THIS EVENING... THEN INCREASE ONCE AGAIN TUESDAY. WIND GUSTS ARE
EXPECTED TO REACH GALE FORCE AT TIMES DURING THE DAY TUESDAY.

THE HIGHEST WINDS WILL BE NEAR THE LAKESHORE DUE TO DEEPER
MIXING. THE GUSTY WINDS WILL BUILD HIGH WAVES... WITH THE HIGHEST
WAVES TOWARD THE OPEN WATERS.

* WINDS: WEST 20 TO 25 KNOTS WITH GUSTS TO 30 KNOTS... DIMINISHING
  TO 10 TO 20 KNOTS BY LATE EVENING. WINDS 20 TO 30 KNOTS DURING
  THE DAYLIGHT HOURS TUESDAY. GALE FORCE GUSTS TO 35 KNOTS LOOKING
  LIKELY.

* WAVES: 2 TO 4 FEET...HIGHEST WAVES TOWARDS THE OPEN WATER.

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OF 23 TO 33 KNOTS
AND/OR WAVES GREATER THAN 4 FEET ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE
HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...
ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID
NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.

A GALE WATCH IS ISSUED WHEN THE RISK OF GALE FORCE WINDS OF 34 TO
47 KNOTS HAS SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASED...BUT THE SPECIFIC TIMING
AND/OR LOCATION IS STILL UNCERTAIN. IT IS INTENDED TO PROVIDE
ADDITIONAL LEAD TIME FOR MARINERS WHO MAY WISH TO CONSIDER
ALTERING THEIR PLANS.
