WISCONSIN WEATHER SUMMARY

.YESTERDAY...

SKIES WERE PARTLY SUNNY IN NORTHWEST WISCONSIN ON TUESDAY AND MOSTLY
SUNNY IN THE SOUTHEAST. A FEW LIGHT SHOWERS OCCURRED IN THE
NORTHWEST IN THE AFTERNOON.

HIGH TEMPERATURES REACHED INTO THE 60S IN MOST AREAS BUT CONDITIONS
NEAR LAKE MICHIGAN WERE MUCH COOLER DUE TO A NORTHEAST TO EAST WIND
OFF OF THE LAKE.  HIGH TEMPERATURES IN WISCONSIN ON MONDAY RANGED
FROM 52 AT MILWAUKEE AND RACINE TO 75 AT LA CROSSE.  THE NORMAL HIGH
TEMPERATURES FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR ARE IN THE UPPER 50S AND LOWER
60S.

WINDS ON TUESDAY WERE LIGHT AND VARIABLE IN THE MORNING BUT TRENDED
NORTHEAST TO EAST 10 TO 20 MILES AN HOUR IN THE AFTERNOON.

.OVERNIGHT...

SKIES WERE MOSTLY CLEAR TO PARTLY CLOUDY ACROSS THE STATE DURING
THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. WINDS WERE LIGHT...WITH LOW TEMPERATURES
RANGING FROM THE MID AND UPPER 30S NORTH...TO THE UPPER 30S AND
LOW 40S ELSEWHERE.

.FORECAST...

LOW PRESSURE WILL BRING A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND MAYBE A FEW
STORMS ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST HALF OF WISCONSIN THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL BRING DRY WEATHER BACK TO THE STATE THURSDAY.
THERE MAY BE A FEW SHOWERS FRIDAY AS THE HIGH DEPARTS...BUT IT
WILL LIKELY REMAIN MOSTLY DRY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.

A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND STORMS IS THEN EXPECTED FOR SUNDAY INTO
EARLY NEXT WEEK.

TEMPERATURES WILL BE NEAR TO A COUPLE DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL THROUGH
THURSDAY...WARMING TO WELL ABOVE NORMAL CONDITIONS BY THE
WEEKEND. COOLER TEMPERATURES ARE LIKELY NEAR LAKE MICHIGAN AND
LAKE SUPERIOR AT TIMES.
