WEATHER SUMMARY FOR MINNESOTA

A MOSTLY CLEAR SKY WAS FOUND ACROSS MUCH OF THE STATE THIS MORNING.
EARLY MORNING TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE MID 30S TO UPPER 50S.

SUNSHINE WILL BE PREVALENT ACROSS THE STATE TODAY...ALONG WITH
WARMER TEMPERATURES.  HIGHS TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO WARM
THROUGH THE 70S EAST TO THE LOWER 80S IN THE WEST.

A COLD FRONT IS FORECAST TO MOVE INTO NORTHWEST MINNESOTA TONIGHT.
THIS WILL BE THE FOCUS OF SOME SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS...WILL WILL AFFECT THE NORTH AND WEST.  THE EAST
SHOULD REMAIN PARTLY CLOUDY...BUT DRY.  LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE
IN THE 50S.

THE FRONT WILL MOVE INTO SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA BY SUNDAY EVENING.
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE ASSOCIATED WITH THE FRONT.  THERE
MAY BE A FEW STRONG OR SEVERE STORMS IN THE AFTERNOON INTO EARLY
EVENING IN THE SOUTHEAST. HIGH TEMPERATURES ON SUNDAY SHOULD WARM
THROUGH THE LOWER 80S SOUTH OF THE FRONT WITH SOME UPPER 60S AND 70S
NORTH OF THE FRONT.

MUCH OF THE WEEK WILL REMAIN ON THE WARM SIDE WITH A FEW CHANCES OF
SPRING LIKE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.  COOLER CONDITIONS WILL
ARRIVE FOR NEXT WEEKEND.
