LATE SATURDAY MORNING... A COLD FRONT WAS MOVING ACROSS MINNESOTA
SPARKING SOME SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. IT WAS A WARM MORNING...
WITH LOWS IN THE 50S ACROSS SOUTHERN AND NORTHEASTERN MINNESOTA...
AND 40S BEHIND THE FRONT IN NORTHWESTERN MINNESOTA. TEMPERATURES
ARE CURRENTLY IN THE BALMY 70S AHEAD OF THE FRONT... BUT IN THE
50S BEHIND IT ACROSS THE NORTHWEST. A FEW LOCAL SPOTS PICKED UP TO
A TENTH OF AN INCH BEFORE 7AM THIS MORNING WITH PASSING SHOWERS.

THE COLD FRONT WILL CONTINUE PUSHING SOUTHEAST TODAY. ADDITIONAL
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ALONG IT BY EARLY
AFTERNOON. THERE IS A RISK OF SOME OF THESE STORMS BECOMING
SEVERE... MAINLY ACROSS SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AND WISCONSIN... WITH LARGE
HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS THE MAIN THREATS. HIGHS AHEAD OF THE FRONT WILL
REACH THE LOW TO MID 80S...WITH UPPER 60S BEHIND IT.

COOLER AND DRIER AIR WILL ACCOMPANY HIGH PRESSURE TONIGHT UNDER
MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES. LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 30S NORTH
TO LOWER 50S SOUTH.

A WARM...HUMID...STORMY PATTERN IS IN THE OFFING FOR MID TO LATE
NEXT WEEK AS SLOW MOVING LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPS OVER THE PLAINS.
