FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EAST KENTUCKY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON KY
451 AM EDT SUN APR 26 2015

.DISCUSSION...WIDESPREAD CLOUD COVER EARLY IN THE DAY WILL
GRADUALLY GIVE WAY TO PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES BY LATE THIS AFTERNOON.
ANY REMAINING RAIN SHOWERS SHOULD BE OUT OF EASTERN KENTUCKY BY
MID MORNING. MINIMUM HUMIDITY VALUES WILL BE WELL ABOVE ANY
CRITICAL THRESHOLDS TODAY...AS THE GROUND AND ANY FUELS WILL BE
QUITE WET FROM LAST NIGHTS AND YESTERDAYS RAIN. CONDITIONS WILL
BE A BIT DRIER ON MONDAY...HOWEVER...AS AMPLE SUNSHINE AND LIGHT
WINDS ACT TO DRY THINGS OUT A BIT. MINIMUM HUMIDITY VALUES ON
MONDAY WILL LIKELY BOTTOM OUT BETWEEN 30 AND 40 PERCENT FOR MOST
LOCATIONS. HOWEVER...THE GROUND SHOULD STILL BE DAMP ENOUGH AND
WINDS LIGHT ENOUGH TO MITIGATE ANY FIRE DANGER.
