THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE EXTREME SOUTHERN TEXAS
PANHANDLE...SOUTH PLAINS AND ROLLING PLAINS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ACROSS THE SOUTHWEST
TEXAS PANHANDLE AND WESTERN SOUTH PLAINS LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND
SPREAD TO NEAR THE I-27/US-87 CORRIDOR THIS EVENING BEFORE
DIMINISHING. ALTHOUGH WIDESPREAD SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT
EXPECTED...THE STRONGEST STORMS COULD GENERATE WIND GUSTS TO
AROUND 60 MPH AND QUARTER SIZE HAIL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ACROSS THE WESTERN SOUTH
PLAINS MONDAY AFTERNOON. SOME OF THESE STORMS MAY BE STRONG TO
SEVERE WITH LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WIND GUSTS...MAINLY TO THE
WEST OF HIGHWAY 84. THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT MAY EXPAND FARTHER
NORTH AND EAST MONDAY NIGHT ALONG WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY
RAINFALL AND LOCALIZED FLOODING. THE POTENTIAL FOR SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS AND HEAVY RAIN WILL LIKELY CONTINUE FOR SOME AREAS
TUESDAY.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY IS POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY THROUGH
SATURDAY...MAINLY ACROSS CENTRAL AND EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE
OUTLOOK AREA.
