THE NORTH ALONG THE OUTER COAST THIS MORNING AND THEN WEAKEN
RAPIDLY AS IT MOVES INLAND NORTH OF SITKA LATER TODAY.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JUNEAU HAS ISSUED A HIGH WIND
WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM AKDT THIS AFTERNOON.

* LOCATION...LAND AREAS SOUTH OF SUMNER STRAIT AND WEST OF MISTY
  FJORDS. STRONGEST WINDS NEAR CLARENCE STRAIT AND ALONG THE WEST
  COAST OF PRINCE OF WALES ISLAND.

* WIND...35 MPH WINDS WITH FREQUENT GUSTS TO 60 MPH.

* TIMING...WINDS WILL INCREASE RAPIDLY THIS MORNING THEN DIMINISH
  BY EARLY AFTERNOON

* IMPACTS...THESE WINDS COULD CAUSE BRANCHES TO FALL ONTO
  POWER LINES. BE PREPARED IN CASE THERE IS A LOSS OF POWER.
