SURF ALONG SOUTH FACING SHORES WILL BE 5 TO 8 FEET THROUGH
TONIGHT...LOWERING TO 5 TO 7 FEET BY THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

SURF ALONG EAST FACING SHORES WILL BE 5 TO 7 FEET THROUGH
TONIGHT...LOWERING TO 4 TO 6 FEET THURSDAY.

SURF ALONG NORTH FACING SHORES WILL BE 2 TO 4 FEET THROUGH
TONIGHT...INCREASING TO 3 TO 5 FEET THURSDAY.

SURF ALONG WEST FACING SHORES WILL BE 1 TO 3 FEET THROUGH
TONIGHT...INCREASING TO 2 TO 4 FEET THURSDAY.

OUTLOOK THROUGH TUESDAY MAY 12:
A SLIGHTLY ABOVE NORMAL SOUTH SWELL WILL GRADUALLY TREND DOWN
THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. A SMALL BACKGROUND SOUTHERLY SWELL WILL
LIKELY PERSIST THROUGH THE WEEKEND. A SMALL TO MODERATE NORTHERLY
SWELL WILL BEGIN TO FILL IN THURSDAY...PEAK SOMETIME BETWEEN FRIDAY
AND SATURDAY...THEN GRADUALLY SUBSIDE INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. THE
ROUGH EAST-SHORE SURF WILL CONTINUE INTO NEXT WEEK AS THE TRADE
WINDS REMAIN FRESH TO LOCALLY STRONG.

SURF HEIGHTS ARE FORECAST HEIGHTS OF THE FACE OR FRONT OF WAVES. THE
SURF FORECAST IS BASED ON THE SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT...THE AVERAGE
HEIGHT OF THE ONE THIRD LARGEST WAVES...AT THE LOCATIONS OF THE
LARGEST BREAKERS. SOME WAVES MAY BE MORE THAN TWICE AS HIGH AS THE
SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT. EXPECT TO ENCOUNTER RIP CURRENTS IN OR NEAR
ANY SURF ZONE.
