FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MARQUETTE MI
349 AM EDT SAT APR 18 2015

...ONE MORE DRY DAY...THEN COOLER AND WETTER FOR NEXT WEEK...

.DISCUSSION...ONE MORE DRY DAY WILL OCCUR TODAY WITH MINIMUM RELATIVE
HUMIDITY VALUES...ESPECIALLY OVER THE WESTERN INTERIOR DROPPING TO
AROUND 20 PERCENT THIS AFTERNOON. WINDS SHOULD REMAIN RELATIVELY
LIGHT...GENERALLY LESS THAN 15 MPH. A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM DEVELOPING
OVER THE PLAINS WILL BRING RAIN INTO THE AREA SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT
WITH WIDESPREAD AMOUNTS OF 0.40 TO 0.75 INCH OF RAIN. AS THE LOW PULLS
INCREASINGLY COLDER AIR INTO THE AREA FROM THE NORTH AND WEST...SCATTERED
RAIN SHOWERS WILL MIX WITH SNOW MONDAY NIGHT...AND THEN CHANGE OVER TO
MAINLY SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS FOR TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY. TEMPERATURES
WILL REMAIN BELOW NORMAL FOR THE REST OF NEXT WEEK WITH CHANCES FOR
RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS EACH DAY ACROSS MOST OF THE AREA.
