...LAKE EFFECT SNOW CAUSING POOR VISIBILITY AROUND MARQUETTE...

A LAKE EFFECT SNOW BAND HAS SET UP ALONG THE SHORE FROM BIG BAY TO
MARQUETTE AND HARVEY. EXPECT VISIBILITY DOWN TO ONE-QUARTER MILE
WITHIN THE SNOW BAND. AS OF 1130 AM...THE HEAVIEST SNOW AND LOWEST
VISIBILITY WERE OCCURRING ALONG THE SHORELINE FROM MARQUETTE TO
HARVEY. IF YOU ARE TRAVELING IN THE NEXT HOUR IN THE MARQUETTE
AREA...PLAN ON RAPIDLY CHANGING VISIBILITY NEAR THIS SNOW BAND. SNOW
AMOUNTS THROUGH 1 PM COULD BE UP TO AN INCH IF THE SNOW SHOWERS
PERSIST IN ONE AREA.
