CAROLINA...EAST TENNESSEE AND SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT AND SUNDAY...

...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS LATE TONIGHT AND SUNDAY...
...A RISK OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING...

A WARM FRONT WILL MOVE NORTH ACROSS THE TENNESSEE VALLEY AND
SOUTHERN APPALACHIANS LATE TONIGHT AND SUNDAY BRINGING WITH IT
INCREASING MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY. PERIODS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY
RAINS ARE ANTICIPATED WITH LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL POSSIBLE. THE
HEAVY RAINS MAY CAUSE LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING OF AREA ROADWAYS...
SMALL STREAMS...AND PONDING OF WATER ACROSS LOW-LYING AREAS.

THE INCREASING INSTABILITY WILL INCREASE THE THREAT OF
THUNDERSTORMS SUNDAY WITH ISOLATED STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS
POSSIBLE. THE MAIN CONCERN BEING ISOLATED DAMAGING DOWNBURSTS WINDS
AND HAIL UP TO QUARTER SIZE DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY...

THE THREAT FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUES SUNDAY NIGHT
INTO MONDAY. THE CHANCE OF SEVERE STORMS REMAINS LOW...BUT STRONG
STORMS AND AN ISOLATED SEVERE ARE POSSIBLE ON SUNDAY NIGHT AND
AGAIN ON MONDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. DAMAGING WINDS...LOCALLY
HEAVY RAIN...AND QUARTER SIZED HAIL COULD OCCUR WITH THE STRONGEST
STORMS.
