LIVED THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE NORTH AND NORTHEAST OVER MUCH OF
CENTRAL AND PORTIONS OF WESTERN NEW MEXICO THE REST OF THE MORNING
AND BEYOND. THE MORE PERSISTENT RAIN...WITH SNOW ABOVE ABOUT 7500
FEET...WILL FALL ALONG AND UP TO ABOUT 70 MILES EITHER SIDE OF THE
RIO GRANDE VALLEY. RAINFALL AMOUNTS THROUGH 11 AM WILL RANGE FROM
SEVERAL HUNDRETHS TO ONE QUARTER INCH. ISOLATED AMOUNTS TO ONE THIRD
OF AN INCH ARE POSSIBLE. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS UP TO 2 INCHES ARE
POSSIBLE ABOVE 8000 OR 8500 FEET...THOUGH ROAD SURFACES SHOULD
REMAIN MAINLY WET BELOW 8500 OR 9000 FEET DUE TO THE RECENT WARMTH
AND DAYLIGHT. THE HEAVIEST PRECIPITATION DURING THIS PERIOD SHOULD
IMPACT LOCALES NEAR SANTA FE...LOS ALAMOS...EMBUDO...JEMEZ SPRINGS...
