WESTERN NEW MEXICO. RAINFALL WILL GENERALLY BE LIGHT...WITH AN
OCCASIONAL MODERATE DOWNPOUR PRODUCING AMOUNTS RANGING FROM A TRACE
AND TWO TENTHS OF AN INCH. IN ADDITION...WIND GUSTS TO NEAR 45 MPH
MAY ACCOMPANY THIS ACTIVITY WITH AN OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING STRIKE. LOOK FOR THIS ACTIVITY TO DIMINISH SHORTLY AFTER
SUNSET.

EASTERN PLAINS OF NEW MEXICO. THE STRONGEST STORMS WILL BE ALONG AND
SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 40 IN QUAY COUNTY. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL
GENERALLY RANGE FROM A TRACE TO ONE TENTH OF AN INCH...ALTHOUGH THE
STRONGER STORMS IN THE FAR EAST CENTRAL PLAINS WILL BE CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING AMOUNTS NEAR ONE HALF INCH. OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING AND
SMALL PEA SIZE HAIL WILL ACCOMPANY THE THUNDERSTORMS...ALTHOUGH WIND
GUSTS TO NEAR 45 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE SHOWERS AS WELL.
LOOK FOR THIS ACTIVITY TO GRADUALLY DIMINISH AFTER SUNSET.
