SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP OVER MUCH OF THE
NORTHERN AND WESTERN HIGH TERRAIN THROUGH THE EARLY AFTERNOON.
STORMS WILL INITIALLY BE WEAK WITH LITTLE TO NO RAIN...BUT GUSTY
WINDS AND CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING WILL BE POSSIBLE. GIVEN
ENOUGH TIME AND HEATING...STORMS WILL GAIN STRENGTH AFTER A FEW
HOURS...AND WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN AND
SMALL HAIL ALONG WITH THE AFOREMENTIONED GUSTY WINDS AND LIGHTNING.
THROUGH 2 PM...AREAS MOST LIKELY TO BE IMPACTED INCLUDE THE JEMEZ AND
SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS...MOUNT TAYLOR...AND MUCH OF THE
SOUTHWEST MOUNTAINS.
