ACTIVITY...MORE SHOWERS THAN STORMS HOWEVER...WILL STRETCH FROM DE
BACA COUNTY NORTH TO THE EAST HALF OF SAN MIGUEL COUNTY AND HARDING
COUNTY...AS WELL AS SOUTHERN ROOSEVELT COUNTY. A NORTHBOUND OUTFLOW
BOUNDARY FROM EARLIER ACTIVITY WILL CONTINUE ACROSS QUAY AND CURRY
COUNTIES...BRINGING A MODEST INCREASE IN THE POTENTIAL FOR SPOTTY
SHOWER AND STORM DEVELOPMENT THERE. MOVEMENT WILL BE TOWARD THE
NORTHEAST AT 10 TO 15 MPH. IN ADDITION BRIEF BURSTS OF MODERATE TO
LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND WIND GUSTS BETWEEN 40 AND 50 MPH WILL BE
COMMON. THE POTENTIAL FOR SEVERE WEATHER IS QUITE LOW...AND WILL
DIMINISH FURTHER AS THE EVENING PROGRESSES.
