COVERAGE ACROSS THE EASTERN PLAINS AND HIGHLANDS DURING THE LATE
MORNING HOURS. MOVEMENT WILL BE TO THE NORTH NORTHEAST AROUND 15
MPH. THROUGH 130 PM MDT...THUNDERSTORMS WILL FAVOR AREAS IN OR NEAR
EASTERN GUADALUPE AND WESTERN QUAY COUNTIES AND BE ON THE INCREASE
IN SAN MIGUEL COUNTY. THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 40 BETWEEN SANTA ROSA
AND TUCUMCARI. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME
MORE NUMEROUS AND STRONGER THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS.
ANY THUNDERSTORM WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING FREQUENT CLOUD TO
GROUND LIGHTNING STRIKES...BRIEF MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN WITH A
QUICK QUARTER OF AN INCH IN 15 MINUTES...HAIL AND GUSTY OUTFLOWS.

AS WELL AS THE CHAMA AREA. BRIEF MODERATE TO HEAVY DOWNPOURS WILL
PRODUCE RUNOFFS...AND LIGHTNING AND HAIL WILL ALSO ACCOMPANY THE
