EAST CENTRAL PLAINS DUE TO STRONG WINDS...LOW HUMIDITIES...AND
HIGH INSTABILITY...

...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING
FOR THE NORTHEAST AND EAST CENTRAL PLAINS DUE TO STRONG WINDS...LOW
HUMIDITIES AND HIGH INSTABILITY...

.AN UNSEASONABLY STRONG UPPER LOW OVER THE FOUR CORNERS WILL
SLOWLY MOVE EASTWARD THROUGH FRIDAY. A STRONG JET WILL ROUND THE
BASE OF THE LOW AND EXTEND OVER CENTRAL AND EASTERN NEW MEXICO
THROUGH THE PERIOD. STRONG SOUTHWEST WINDS TODAY WILL REDEVELOP ON
FRIDAY...AS THE DRY SLOT SHIFTS OVER EASTERN NEW MEXICO. CRITICAL
FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH EARLY EVENING ACROSS
CENTRAL AND EAST CENTRAL NEW MEXICO DESPITE SEASONABLY COOL
TEMPERATURES. THOUGH COOL TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE ON
FRIDAY...THE COMBINATION OF WINDY AND DRY CONDITIONS AS WELL AS
AN UNSTABLE ATMOSPHERE WILL RESULT IN THE POSSIBILITY OF CRITICAL
FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS AGAIN ON FRIDAY ACROSS THE PLAINS.
