MORNING...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM MDT
THIS MORNING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 4 INCHES FOR THE SANTA FE METRO AREA
  AND THE JEMEZ MOUNTAINS...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS ON HIGHER
  PEAKS.

* TIMING...THROUGH MID MORNING.

* WINDS...NO WIDESPREAD SIGNIFICANT WINDS.

* SNOW LEVELS...TEMPERATURES WILL BE COLD ENOUGH FOR SNOW AT ALL
  LOCATIONS.

* LOCAL IMPACTS...SNOWFALL WILL ACCUMULATE MAINLY ON GRASSY AND
  ELEVATED ROAD SURFACES AROUND SANTA FE WITH SOME LOCALLY SLICK
  TRAVEL POSSIBLE. THE MAIN WINTRY TRAVEL IMPACTS ARE EXPECTED IN
  THE JEMEZ MOUNTAINS...INCLUDING LOS ALAMOS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL
PRIMARILY CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED
ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES.
