TONIGHT...

.A SPRING STORM SYSTEM WILL SLOWLY MOVE NORTHEAST ACROSS COLORADO
TODAY AND TONIGHT. HEAVY WET SNOW WILL CONTINUE IN THE MOUNTAINS
AND FOOTHILLS TODAY...ENDING FROM SOUTH TO NORTH THIS AFTERNOON
AND EVENING. ADDITIONAL SNOW SHOWERS WILL BE POSSIBLE ONCE THE
PERSIST SNOW ENDS. STORM TOTALS FROM 1 TO 3 FEET ARE EXPECTED IN
THE FRONT RANGE MOUNTAINS AND FOOTHILLS...WITH LOCALLY MORE OVER
PARTS OF LARIMER COUNTY

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DENVER HAS CANCELLED THE WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY.

SNOW HAS ENDED ACROSS MOST OF SOUTH PARK AND THE PALMER DIVIDE...
THEREFORE THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY HAS BEEN CANCELED.
ADDITIONAL SNOW SHOWERS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER PARK COUNTY WITH UP
TO AN ADDITIONAL INCH OR TWO POSSIBLE. THE PALMER DIVIDE WILL SEE
SCATTERED RAIN SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH THE REST
OF THE AFTERNOON.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM MDT
SATURDAY...

* TIMING...MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW WILL DECREASE FROM SOUTH TO
  NORTH THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...1 TO 3 FEET. HEAVIEST ACCUMULATIONS
  LIKELY IN THE HIGHER MOUNTAINS OF BOULDER AND LARIMER
  COUNTIES.

* WIND/VISIBILITY...EAST TO NORTHEAST WINDS 10 TO 20 MPH WITH
  GUSTS TO 30 MPH OVER HIGHER ELEVATIONS. VISIBILITIES WILL DROP
  BELOW ONE QUARTER MILE AT TIMES DUE TO HEAVY SNOW AND BLOWING
  SNOW.

* IMPACTS...ROADS WILL BE ICY AND SNOWPACKED WITH HAZARDOUS
  TRAVEL CONDITIONS EXPECTED. VISIBILITIES WILL BE REDUCED AT
  TIMES DUE TO THE HEAVY SNOWFALL. HEAVY SNOWFALL ON POWER LINES
  MAY CAUSE POWER OUTAGES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER
CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING.  SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF
SNOW ARE FORECAST THAT WILL MAKE TRAVEL DANGEROUS. CONSIDER
DELAYING UNNECESSARY TRAVEL. IF YOU MUST TRAVEL...KEEP AN EXTRA
FLASHLIGHT...FOOD...AND WATER IN YOUR VEHICLE IN CASE OF AN
EMERGENCY.
