...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER POTENTIAL TODAY...

THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS TODAY
ACROSS CENTRAL AND EASTERN INTERIOR MASSACHUSETTS AS WELL AS
NORTHWEST RHODE ISLAND.

AS TEMPERATURES WARM INTO THE LOW-70S BY MIDDAY...RELATIVE HUMIDITY
VALUES WILL TO DROP AS LOW AS 20 PERCENT. COMBINED WITH BREEZY WEST-
NORTHWEST WINDS DURING THE AFTERNOON INTO EVENING HOURS SUSTAINED
AROUND 15 MPH WITH GUSTS AROUND 25 MPH...THERE IS AN ELEVATED FIRE
RISK CONSIDERING THE DRY FUELS AND LACK OF RAINFALL ACROSS THE
REGION AS OF LATE.

CAUTION SHOULD BE USED IF ANY OPEN BURNING IS PLANNED.
