LOWER FLORIDA KEYS

LATEST RADAR IMAGERY SUGGESTS THAT THE HEAVY RAIN THREAT OVER THE
LOWER KEYS WILL CONTINUE TO DIMINISH OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS AS
THE OUTFLOW BOUNDARY WHERE CONVECTION HAS BEEN FOCUSING ALONG
CONTINUES TO PUSH SOUTHWARD. THIS SHOULD ALLOW ANY UPSTREAM
CONVECTION---THAT CONTINUES TO FIRE ON THE WESTERN END OF THIS
GENERALLY WEST TO EAST ORIENTED CONVECTION IN THE AXIS OF MOIST
WEST SOUTHWESTERLY FLOW---TO SINK MORE TO THE SOUTH OF THE LOWER
KEYS LATER THIS AFTERNOON. THE LATEST HRRR CONFIRM THESE TRENDS.
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF .50"+ POSSIBLE EARLY IN THIS PERIOD
WHICH WILL EXACERBATE CURRENT RUNOFF ISSUES OVER THE LOWER KEYS.
