AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FLAGSTAFF AZ
302 AM MST SUN MAR 29 2015

.SYNOPSIS...
WELL ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE AGAIN TODAY AND THE
NEXT FEW DAYS. MAXIMUM DAILY TEMPERATURES WILL COOL A FEW DEGREES
DURING THE WEEK. EXPECT INCREASING SOUTHWEST WINDS...ESPECIALLY ON
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY.

&&

.DISCUSSION...
STRONG HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO BRING MUCH WARMER THAN
NORMAL TEMPERATURES TO THE NORTHLAND AGAIN TODAY. A WEAK IMPULSE
WILL TRAVERSE THE REGION AROUND MONDAY...AND WHILE ANY PRECIP
CHANCES ARE LOW...THEY ARE NOT NON-EXISTENT. THE BEST CHANCES FOR
STRAY SHOWERS WILL BE ACROSS THE WHITE MOUNTAINS. HOWEVER...MOST
LOCATIONS WILL JUST EXPERIENCE TEMPS A COUPLE DEGREES COOLER THAN
THE WEEKEND AND SOME ADDITIONAL PASSING CLOUD COVER. DAYTIME
TEMPS WILL CONTINUE TO MODERATE THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK...THOUGH
STILL REMAINING ABOVE NORMAL. SOUTHWESTERLY BREEZES WILL TYPIFY
MOST AFTERNOONS...WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR DOWNRIGHT GUSTY WINDS ON
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY.

&&

.AVIATION...
FOR THE 12Z PACKAGE...VFR CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE OVER THE NEXT
24 HRS UNDER SCATTERED HIGH CLOUDS. WINDS BECOMING WEST TO
SOUTHWEST 5-15 KTS THIS AFTERNOON. AVIATION DISCUSSION NOT
UPDATED FOR TAF AMENDMENTS.

&&
