...A STRONG STORM SYSTEM SWEEPS THROUGH THE REGION TUESDAY INTO
THURSDAY...

A COLD PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL WORK INTO THE GREAT BASIN ON
TUESDAY THEN DIG THROUGH THIS FORECAST AREA TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH
WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

AFTER A PERIOD OF WARM AND DRY WEATHER...TUESDAY WILL SEE STRONG
GUSTY WINDS INCREASING THROUGH THE DAY. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
WILL INCREASE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. MOST VALLEYS WILL REMAIN DRY
THROUGH TUESDAY WHICH RAISES WILDFIRE CONCERNS.

THE POWERFUL COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP OVER THE FORECAST AREA TUESDAY
NIGHT BRINGING A CHANCE OF SNOW TO ALL MOUNTAINS AND THE HIGHER
VALLEYS. SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE CURRENTLY FORECASTED
TO FAVOR THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL COLORADO MOUNTAINS.

TEMPERATURES WILL PLUMMET ON WEDNESDAY TO WELL BELOW NORMAL. SUB-
FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA
WEDNESDAY NIGHT THAT MAY THREATEN TENDER VEGETATION.

THERE IS HIGH CONFIDENCE ON THE TIMING OF THE STORM BUT IMPORTANT
DETAILS ARE MUCH LESS CERTAIN. CHECK YOUR FAVORITE WEATHER SOURCE
FOR THE LATEST FORECAST AND UPDATED INFORMATION ON THIS DEVELOPING
STORM.
