AT 653 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS. THESE
THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 6 NM EAST OF
PORTLAND TO 27 NM EAST OF CAPE ELIZABETH TO 36 NM NORTHEAST OF
JEFFREYS LEDGE BUOY 44098...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 55 KNOTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THESE STORMS PASS.

FREQUENT LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS. IF CAUGHT ON THE
