A COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE WEST THIS MORNING AND MOVE THROUGH
THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING. A FEW WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS
WERE ALREADY MOVING INTO THE WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE REGION...THE
LOWER HUDSON VALLEY AND INTO WESTERN NEW JERSEY...WELL AHEAD OF THE
FRONT. SHOWERS WILL BECOME MORE NUMEROUS BY THIS AFTERNOON...AND
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE. A FEW THUNDERSTORMS
MAY PRODUCE GUSTY WIND AND EVEN SMALL HAIL. HIGHS TO GENERALLY BE IN
THE LOWER TO MID 60S.

NORTHWESTERLY WIND DEVELOPS IN THE WAKE OF THE COLD FRONT TONIGHT
ALONG WITH SOME CLEARING. LOWS WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 30S INLAND
TO THE MID 40S ACROSS METROPOLITAN NEW YORK.

THURSDAY ANOTHER ROUND OF SHOWERS WILL BE POSSIBLE DURING THE
AFTERNOON...MAINLY ACROSS THE LOWER HUDSON VALLEY AND INTERIOR
SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT AS ANOTHER COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH. COOLER AIR
WILL BE ACROSS THE REGION WITH HIGHS IN THE MID AND UPPER 50S. EVEN
COOLER AIR MOVES IN FOR THURSDAY NIGHT AND TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE
INTERIOR WILL BE NEAR FREEZING...WITH MID TO UPPER 30S ALONG THE
COAST.
