HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS SLOWLY INTO THE REGION FROM THE WEST TODAY
THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM REMAINS TO THE
NORTHEAST...ACROSS THE CANADIAN MARITIMES. A CHILLY AIRMASS REMAINS
IN PLACE WITH A WEST TO NORTHWEST FLOW. TODAY WILL BE PARTLY TO
MOSTLY SUNNY WITH HIGHS TOPPING OUT IN THE LOWER TO MID
50S...AROUND 10 DEGREES BELOW SEASONAL NORMALS.

TONIGHT THE WIND WILL BE DIMINISHING UNDER CLEARING SKY.
TEMPERATURES ARE LIKELY TO FALL TO BELOW FREEZING ACROSS MUCH OF THE
AREA WITH THE EXCEPTION OF METROPOLITAN NEW YORK. LOWS WILL RANGE IN
THE MID 20S TO THE MID 30S. SOME RECORD LOWS WILL BE POSSIBLE.

WITH MORE SUNSHINE AND LESS WIND SATURDAY HIGHS WILL REACH THE MID
50S ALONG THE COAST TO THE LOWER 60S INLAND.
