.DISCUSSION...
FOR TONIGHT...A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS AT LEAST THE
NORTHERN HALF OF OKLAHOMA BEFORE STALLING IN SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA
SUNDAY MORNING. SOME LOW CLOUD DEVELOP IS EXPECTED BEHIND THE
FRONT.

MEANWHILE...STRONG UPPER FLOW ALONG THE WEST COAST AND RIDGING
ACROSS THE CENTRAL US...WILL RESULT IN A CLOSED LOW OVER NEW
MEXICO BY LATE SUNDAY. THERE IS GOOD MODEL AGREEMENT OF THIS
OCCURRING. THE APPROACHING UPPER TROUGH/LOW MAY RESULT IN THE
AFOREMENTIONED FRONT LIFTING SLIGHTLY NORTHWARD SUNDAY AFTERNOON.
THIS BOUNDARY...WHICH WILL EXTEND NORTHWEST INTO THE TEXAS
PANHANDLE...AND A DRYLINE OVER WESTERN NORTH TEXAS WILL BE THE
FOCUS FOR STORM DEVELOP BY LATE AFTERNOON/EVENING. ENOUGH
INSTABILITY AND SHEAR WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF
SEVERE STORMS...ESPECIALLY ACROSS SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN
NORTH TEXAS.

AS THE UPPER LOW MOVES SLOWLY EAST SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH EARLY
TUESDAY...HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BECOME A CONCERN...ESPECIALLY
ACROSS PART OF WESTERN OKLAHOMA.

AFTER TUESDAY...AN EXTENDED DRY PERIOD IS EXPECTED WHICH MAY
LAST INTO NEXT WEEKEND.
