...THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL MOVE EAST INTO THE
FUQUAY-VARINA... GARNER... CLAYTON... ZEBULON... BAILEY... AND
SMITHFIELD AREAS THROUGH 1100 PM...

A CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN WILL MOVE EAST FROM THE
RALEIGH AND CARY ACROSS EASTERN WAKE... NASH... NORTHERN HARNETT...
AND JOHNSTON COUNTIES THROUGH 1100 PM. RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP TO 1 TO
1.5 INCHES IN 45 MINUTES WILL OCCUR. IN ADDITION... OCCASIONAL CLOUD
TO GROUND LIGHTNING WILL OCCUR. WIND GUSTS TO 35 MPH WILL ACCOMPANY
THE HEAVY RAINFALL. THE THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD LAST 30 TO 45 MINUTES
AT ANY GIVEN LOCATION.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER INDOORS FOR THE BEST PROTECTION FROM LIGHTNING.

MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO SLOW DOWN AND USE EXTRA CAUTION TO AVOID
HYDROPLANING.

MINOR FLOODING IN URBAN AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS WILL OCCUR.

THE STORMS WILL MOVE INTO THE ANGIER... SMITHFIELD... AND WILSON
AREAS BETWEEN 1045 PM AND 1115 PM.
