THROUGH 645 AM EDT...

AT 538 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
LINE OF HEAVY SHOWERS EXTENDING FROM NEAR ROUGEMONT TO NEAR
PITTSBORO TO 9 MILES NORTHWEST OF PINEHURST... MOVING SOUTHEAST AT
15 MPH. AN AREA OF RAIN EXTENDED BEHIND THESE SHOWERS BACK TOWARD
THE TRIAD REGION.

PEA SIZE HAIL AND WIND GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH
THESE SHOWERS... ALONG WITH A PERIOD OF HEAVY RAIN. THIS WILL
ADVERSELY IMPACT THE MORNING RUSH HOUR ALONG ROUTES SUCH AS
INTERSTATE 40 AND 85 BETWEEN GREENSBORO AND DURHAM... AND HIGHWAY 64
BEETWEEN ASHEBORO AND JORDAN LAKE.
