* AFFECTED AREA...THE WESTERN AND CENTRAL VALLEYS OF UTAH...
  ALONG WITH SOUTHWEST WYOMING.

* WINDS...STRONG GUSTY SOUTHERLY WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP
  THIS MORNING. WINDS WILL SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST AND STRENGTHEN
  FOR A TIME BEHIND A STRONG COLD FRONT AS IT CROSSES THIS AREA
  DURING THE AFTERNOON. GUSTS EXCEEDING 60 MPH ARE EXPECTED BOTH
  IMMEDIATELY AHEAD OF AND THEN BEHIND THIS COLD FRONT. GUSTS MAY
  LOCALLY REACH 70 MPH BEHIND THE FRONT ACROSS THE NORTHWEST
  DESERT AND OVER POINT OF THE MOUNTAIN ALONG THE SALT LAKE AND
  UTAH COUNTY LINE LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

* IMPACTS...STRONG WINDS WILL AFFECT TRAVEL FOR HIGH PROFILE AND
  LIGHT WEIGHT VEHICLES...WITH CROSSWINDS ESPECIALLY HAZARDOUS
  ALONG WETS TO EAST ROUTES. WIND SENSITIVE OPERATIONS WILL BE
  IMPACTED. TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SECURE LOOSE ITEMS BEFORE THE
  WINDS ARRIVE TODAY. VISIBILITIES MAY BE REDUCED IN AREAS OF
  BLOWING DUST. IN ADDITION...WINDS WILL CAUSE ROUGH CHOPPY WATERS
  ON AREA LAKES.
