...REMARKS...HIGH PRESSURE WAS IN PLACE OVER THE WEST COAST OF THE
UNITED STATES FOR MUCH OF THE MONTH. THIS KEPT MOST OF THE WEATHER
SYSTEMS AND RAIN OFF TO THE NORTH OF THE REGION. RAINFALL WAS AROUND
60 PERCENT OF NORMAL. THE STRONG RIDGE ALSO BROUGHT WARM
TEMPERATURES ALOFT AND INCREASED COASTAL CLOUD COVER. BOTH OF THESE
COMBINED KEPT TEMPERATURES ABOVE NORMAL...ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. THIS
CONTINUES THE TREND OF ABOVE NORMAL MONTHLY TEMPERATURES SINCE
JANUARY OF 2014. NO RECORDS WERE SET...ALTHOUGH IT WAS CLOSE ON THE
14TH WITH A HIGH OF 66 DEGREES AND A RECORD OF ONLY 68 DEGREES. ALSO
OF NOTE...LOW TEMPERATURES DID NOT DROP BELOW FREEZING...THE LOWEST
TEMPERATURE OF THE MONTH WAS 37 DEGREES.
