2015 BROUGHT NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND DRIER THAN NORMAL CONDITIONS TO
SOUTHEAST WASHINGTON AND THE SOUTH IDAHO PANHANDLE.  FOR THE
LEWISTON AIRPORT ONLY 0.29 INCHES OF RAIN WAS MEASURED FOR THE
MONTH...THE 8TH DRIEST APRIL ON RECORD.

OVERALL APRIL BROUGHT SEVERAL TEMPERATURE SWINGS AS PERIODS OF WARM
HIGH PRESSURE WERE INTERUPTED BY COLD FRONT PASSAGES. THE COLDEST
STORM TRACKED THROUGH ON THE 6TH AND 14TH WITH WET SNOW FALLING
ABOVE 2500 FEET INCLUDING THE PALOUSE...CAMAS PRAIRIE...AND CENTRAL
PANHANDLE MOUNTAINS.  AROUND AN INCH OF SNOW FELL ON THE 6TH AT
DEARY...MOSCOW...AND SAINT MARIES. THE WARMEST STRETCH OCCURRED FROM
THE 17TH THROUGH THE 21ST AS STRONG HIGH PRESSURE RESULTED IN HIGH
TEMPERATURES WARMING INTO THE MID 70S TO AROUND 80.  ANOTHER ONE DAY
WARM SPELL OCCURRED ON THE 28TH WITH LEWISTON REACHING 86 DEGREES.

NO RECORDS WERE SET DURING THE MONTH AT THE LEWISTON AIRPORT.
