APRIL TALLIED SLIGHTLY WARMER AND WETTER THAN NORMAL CONDITIONS.
WITH THAT SAID...APRIL OF 2015 DID NOT EVEN RANK IN THE TOP
TWENTY WARMEST AND WETTEST APRILS ON RECORD.

AFTER A RATHER WET AND ACTIVE MARCH OF 2015...THIS APRIL RECORDED
MUCH QUIETER WEATHER WITH NO FLASH FLOODING AND VERY LITTLE
SEVERE WEATHER.  INDEED...SHREVEPORT ONLY RECORDED ONE SEVERE
WEATHER EVENT DURING THIS APRIL WITH SMALL HAIL FALLING ACROSS
WEST SHREVEPORT DURING THE EVENING OF THE 19TH NEAR SUNSET.

SHREVEPORT DID BREAK ONE HIGH TEMPERATURE DURING APRIL 25TH.
THE MERCURY REACHED 89 DEGREES DURING THE 25TH AND BROKE THE
PREVIOUS RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE RECORD OF 88 DEGREES SET DURING
1925.
