THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
LOUISIANA...SOUTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA...SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA...WEST
CENTRAL LOUISIANA...EAST CENTRAL TEXAS AND SOUTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA FROM
THE WEST THIS MORNING. MOST OF THE ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO BE
CONCENTRATED ALONG THE I-10 CORRIDOR AND SOUTH TO THE COAST. SOME
STORMS COULD BE STRONG...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY
WINDS. STORMS WILL ALSO BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING FREQUENT CLOUD TO
GROUND LIGHTNING AND TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS WHICH MAY PRODUCE
LOCALIZED STREET FLOODING.

THIS ACTIVITY WILL MOVE EAST THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON...AND SHOULD
EXIT THE AREA BY MID-AFTERNOON WITH RAIN CHANCES DECREASING
THROUGH THIS EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
ANOTHER FAIRLY POTENT LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA
MONDAY. SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE
EXPECTED TO DEVELOP MONDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT. SOME OF THESE STORMS
COULD BECOME STRONG TO SEVERE AND THE STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS
INCLUDED THE AREA IN A SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE WEATHER. ANY SEVERE
STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING STRAIGHT
LINE WINDS AND POSSIBLY A FEW TORNADOES. FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING AND TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS ARE ALSO EXPECTED TO ACCOMPANY
THE STORMS...WITH FLOODING OF URBAN AND LOW-LYING AREAS POSSIBLE.
RAINFALL TOTALS ARE EXPECTED TO AVERAGE 1 TO 2 INCHES WITH
LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS.

DRY WEATHER WILL RETURN TUESDAY NIGHT AND IS EXPECTED THROUGH THE
REMAINDER OF THE WEEK.

GULF OF MEXICO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE EAST ACROSS THE
COASTAL WATERS TODAY. SOME STRONG STORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE...ACCOMPANIED BY GUSTY WINDS...FREQUENT CLOUD TO WATER
LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAINFALL REDUCING VISIBILITIES TO LESS
THAN ONE MILE.

SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL TAPER OFF FROM WEST TO EAST DURING THE
AFTERNOON.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO
DEVELOP MONDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT. SOME STRONG STORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE...RESULTING IN STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND POSSIBLY A FEW
WATERSPOUTS. FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY
DOWNPOURS REDUCING VISIBILITIES TO LESS THAN ONE MILE ARE ALSO
EXPECTED TO ACCOMPANY THE STORMS.

A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS EARLY TUESDAY.
STRONG NORTH WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP BEHIND IT...WITH SMALL
CRAFT ADVISORY CONDITIONS POSSIBLE FOR LATE TUESDAY INTO EARLY
WEDNESDAY.
