...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED ACROSS THE EXTREME
SOUTHWESTERN TEXAS PANHANDLE THIS AFTERNOON...

WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL BE FAVORABLE FOR RAPID FIRE SPREAD IN
WILDLAND GRASSES.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY: BETWEEN 10 AND 15 PERCENT.

* WIND: WINDS WILL BE OUT OF THE WEST AT 15 TO 20 MPH AT THE 20
  FOOT LEVEL.

* TEMPERATURE: NEAR NORMAL TO 5 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.

* FUELS: PATCHY CURED FUELS.

* TIMING: LATE MORNING THROUGH LATE AFTERNOON.

THESE WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF LARGE
GRASS FIRES. OUTDOOR BURNING AND ACTIVITIES THAT CAUSE OPEN
SPARKS OR FLAMES ARE DISCOURAGED.
