WEATHER SUMMARY FOR PUERTO RICO

SHOWERS WERE VERY SPOTTY ACROSS THE ISLANDS TODAY. RAIN FELL
ACROSS THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF PUERTO RICO THIS MORNING LEAVING
UP TO ONE QUARTER INCH. IT WAS VERY WARM IN SAN JUAN AGAIN TODAY
WITH 93 DEGREES RECORDED AT THE AIRPORT. WINDS WERE 10 TO 15 MPH
WITH GUSTS TO 20...BUT THE SOUTHEAST FLOW FOUGHT WITH THE SEA
BREEZES ON THE NORTH COAST.

TEMPERATURES WILL ONLY INTO THE 70S TO AROUND 80 TONIGHT. WIDELY
SCATTERED SHOWERS WILL BE SEEN AGAIN ON THE EAST AND SOUTH COASTS
AND SLOPES OF PUERTO RICO TONIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING...WITH
SHOWERS IN THE NORTHWEST POSSIBLE MONDAY AFTERNOON BUT AGAIN WIDELY
SCATTERED. THEN THE WEATHER WILL BEGIN TO TURN DRIER MONDAY NIGHT
AND WILL CONTINUE THROUGH AT LEAST MID WEEK. TEMPERATURES WILL
LIKELY REMAIN BELOW RECORD HIGHS MUCH OF THIS WEEK BUT IT WILL
STILL REACH THE 90S IN MANY OF THE LOWER ELEVATIONS.

ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS...WINDS WILL BE 15 KNOTS WITH SEAS UP
TO 6 FEET TONIGHT AND MONDAY. THEN WINDS AND SEAS WILL RISE WITH
WINDS UP TO 20 KT AND SEAS UP TO 7 FEET. SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES
WILL BE RAISED AFTER MONDAY ON BOTH THE ATLANTIC AND THE CARIBBEAN
WATERS.
