Partly to mostly cloudy skies covered much of the eastern half of
Texas this morning, while partly cloudy skies prevailed from the
Panhandle south through the Big Bend region. Temperatures were mild,
with readings in the 70s and 80s. Extremes at 11 AM ranged from 67
degrees at Hereford, to 82 degrees in Brownsville.

The forecast for west central Texas. Expect a chance of showers and
thunderstorms through the weekend. Highs will be in the 80s, with
lows mainly in the 60s.
