THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MOST OF EASTERN NEBRASKA AND
PARTS OF SOUTHWEST IOWA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON...MAINLY ACROSS
NORTHEAST NEBRASKA AS A COLD FRONT PUSHES INTO THE AREA. STORMS
WILL THEN LIKELY EXPAND OR DEVELOP TO THE SOUTH AND EAST OVER THE
REST OF EASTERN NEBRASKA AND SOUTHWEST IOWA. SOME STORMS COULD BE
SEVERE. LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS WOULD BE THE MAIN HAZARDS.

THE COVERAGE AND INTENSITY OF STORMS SHOULD DECREASE AFTER
MIDNIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

ADDITIONAL CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS ARE IN THE FORECAST THROUGH
THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEK. A FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL BE THE FOCUS
FOR STORMS MONDAY INTO MONDAY NIGHT...SOME OF WHICH COULD BE
SEVERE...ESPECIALLY ACROSS SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA.

RIPPLES OF ENERGY MOVING OUT ACROSS THE PLAINS FROM THE SOUTHWEST
COULD TRIGGER STORMS IN THE PERIOD FROM TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.
THE HIGHEST CHANCES FOR SEVERE STORMS APPEAR TO BE WEDNESDAY AND
THURSDAY.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION SHOULD NOT BE NEEDED TODAY OR TONIGHT...BUT
PLEASE PASS ALONG REPORTS OF HAIL OR STRONG WINDS.
