SEVERE STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN WELL SOUTH OF THE AREA.

IOWA...EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER IS FORECAST THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AS
GUSTY SOUTH WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH PUSH TEMPERATURES INTO THE
70S...HUMIDITIES DROP JUST BELOW 30 PERCENT...AND RELATIVELY DRY
FUELS REMAIN IN PLACE.

OVERNIGHT THERE IS A CHANCE FOR ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING
OVER SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA AFTER MIDNIGHT...THEN SPREADING TO AND
NORTH OF INTERSTATE 80 TOWARD SUNRISE. SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT
ANTICIPATED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES CONTINUE SUNDAY AND SUNDAY EVENING. A FEW MAY
BE STRONG TO SEVERE. LARGE HAIL WOULD BE THE PRIMARY THREAT WITH
ANY OF THE STRONG STORMS.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE AGAIN POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY.
